Light Up Copemish Project
The Village of Copemish received $10,000 for the Light Up Copemish Project during the first phase in 2025. The project helped to add holiday lighting fixtures to enhance a sense of place and build community pride.
It was made possible by the support of the Manistee County Community Foundation (MCCF) Limitless Fund.

The Manistee County Community Foundation (MCCF), established in 1987, is a public charity and tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Manistee County – today and in the future. Governed by a diverse Board of Directors comprised of community leaders from across Manistee County, the Foundation serves as a convener and provides leadership to achieve community change, awards grants that address local needs, and builds community endowment.

Fundraising
Copemish is currently in the second phase of raising funds for more holiday lights and banners to decorate our Village. We are now reaching out to local business owners to help with funding the purchase. Anyone can donate to the fund. And all donations will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged. It is our goal to continue to brighten up our space and to make it a pleasing community for all to visit and live for many years to come.
